▪ About me:
A: I draw since my childhood, because it was a family affair. :)
I began to draw comics mainly with cartoon characters, and I was very inspired by Duck Tales or superheroes stories as Darkwing Duck. Then, I have been attracted by mangas as Dragon Ball or Appleseed, which gave me desire for creating my own characters and stories in this style.
I didn’t like school a lot, it’s for that I was a hard-worker: to finish with it quickly. Unfortunately, my good results made people think I was made for some scientific job or very long studies… But I love drawing, and I decided to follow this way, my own way.
During 3 years, in an art school, I could learn or improve my perspective, color, comic and academic drawing bases. However, the road is long, and I have not finished to evolve because I have many things to know! :)
▪ About my working method:
A: It depends on the complexity of the picture. Between a simple sketch, a complete illustration, a comic page with beautiful colors and great sceneries, it may take 10/20 minutes to 2/4 days, or one week to do.
A: I proceed in many ways:
▪ for CG color, after scanning I add colors or effects in Photoshop or Painter, for that I use the mouse or the graphic tablet according to the result I want to obtain. To add tones in a black & white picture, I use Manga Studio.
▪ for traditionnal color, sometimes I make a copy on a specific paper, still in the case I need to obtain some particular effects. Photocopy allows me to keep the original intact, and like that the ink doesn't dribble (when using watercolour ink colors, for example). Or else I can do the color directly on the sketch or use alcohol-based ink markers on layout paper; wholesale it depends because I don't use a single method.
A: Everywhere! Things I love, movies, comics, video games, illustrations, photos, music, people...
A: Yes. On a subject, I may use photos, videos or other pictures to understand them before interpretating to my way.
▪ About the site:
A: This site is the result of many hours of sleep sacrified, shouts after my ex-PC and headaches, because I was much more at ease with pencils than html code.
A first version was designed with Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop, but first it was born on a piece of paper, when I had to think about its presentation, menus, content, etc. When everything was "completed", it no longer corresponded to my idea of an efficient portfolio. So I decided to completely redo it in order to have a lighter interface and make it simpler in its navigation. This time I used a simple text editor, Photoshop and Mamp for testing.
For the technical aspect I was greatly helped by friends who know programmation better than me, and I used various tutorials on CSS, PHP and JavaScript found on the net. Thanks to large provided efforts, the objectives have been reached, even exceeded and I'm very proud of the result.
All tastes are in nature, so much the better if it pleases to some and it's a pity for the others, the essential thing is that it pleases to me. And nothing is fixed, a recasting will occur when this version will no longer be suitable to me...
▪ About jobs:
A: Yes, I'm open to freelance job proposals, so don't hesitate to contact me to know my availability and rates.

A: The pastas I need to be strong and healthy are unfortunately not free, hence the necessary billing of my services.
▪ About various requests:
A: There is no secret: you need to observe and analyze, wear away pencils, dirty brushes, blacken paper... And be patient.
A: I don't have enough time for that, I'm sorry...

A: I apologize for the cases when it happens, there are potentially many reasons. Perhaps your answer in this faq, or I didn't recieve your mail ; but the main cause is that I'm very busy on my works before guaranteeing an answer to everybody, so I do it when it's possible. But it's certain that I read every mail I can recieve, and I thank you for that.
